Tuesdays at 10:30, January 12 through February 16Into the Woods storytime. Swanton Public Library preschool classes feature stories, crafts, and activities that teach about woodland wonders.  Ages 6 months to 2 years with attending adult and ages 3-5.

Thursday, February 11 at 6:30 pmLearn to Create Beaded Jewelry.  Beading enthusiast Barbara Jean Pope teaches the second of two classes at Swanton Public Library on creating beaded jewelry. Participants are asked to bring their own materials to start creating. The class is free. You can attend this class even if you didn't attend the first class - just bring supplies and an idea.

Friday, February 12 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pmVisit to Mount Olympus for grades 3, 4, and 5. Celebrate Greek mythology at Swanton Library.  Hear some of the stories, try some of the food, play some of the games, and make a Greek themed craft.  Tie-in with the release of the first Percy Jackson movie, The Lightning Thief. Wednesday, February 18 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm For Teen Animal Lovers: the Life of a Veterinarian.  Dr. Laura Schmidt will speak at Swanton Library on several topics: What is it like to be a veterinarian?  What kind of schooling does it require?
