Teen Events

Every month something different happens for teens in grades 6-12.  This is the place to find out what!

Make sure you scroll down all the way, as sometimes more than one thing is happening a month.

Suzuka showing
For grades 6 through 12.
Wednesday, April 7 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Join us to review the anime DVD, Suzuka.  What’s it about?  “High School is a hectic time of change for most… But for happy-go-lucky Yamato, it’s gonna be a complete revolution!  He’s new in class, having transferred to the big city to attend Aoba High, where he finds himself smitten with Suzuka, the local rising star of track and field.  Yet, a girl and a guy could not be more different.” We will show the first few episodes from Vol. 1.  There will be a random drawing to give away the DVD as a prize!  FREE popcorn and drinks!   Sign up at the library or online.

Babysitting Clinic

Swanton Public Library’s next Babysitting Clinic will be on May 15 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Check back later for further details!

Come Out of that Shell!

The teen department is looking for local teen artists to display their works in the teen area of the library.  We know there are MANY talented teen artists in the Swanton area.  We just need you to come forward.  Be proud of yourself and show off your talent!  Talk to Brenda, teen librarian,  if interested.
